Challenging Impossibility Trailer

"A great sports movie for any athlete. Contains everything people love about sports. The competition with each other, the physical fitness, feeling good about yourself and so on. It deals with the remarkable weightlifting career of Sri Chinmoy, who at the age of 70 was lifting weights that most people would consider difficult if not impossible at any age. But that is what the film is about. To try things you think are impossible. Nine-time Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis, five-time Mr. Universe Bill Pearl, and bodybuilding legend Frank Zane appear in the film, so there are enough stars in the film that bodybuilders and weightlifters will appreciate and take away something extra from the film. I really enjoyed the film and have seen it about four times now." - Tejvan, USA

"It's such an inspirational movie, I've seen it 3 times now. Hearing so many bodybuilding champions and weightlifting experts talk about Sri Chinmoy's feats really helped me appreciate their immense importance and uniqueness." - Bashini, UK

3100: Run and Become (USA)

The movie tells the story of an unassuming Finnish postal worker who participates in the longest certified running race in the world: The Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race, in which runners must complete an average of nearly 60 miles (96.5 km) a day for 52 days to successfully complete the race. The film takes you to the Kalahari Desert, the mountains of the temples in Japan or the Navajo reservation. With Slovak subtitles.

WHEN: 10 June from 7pm

The screening will be introduced by Slovak ultra runner Pranjal Milovník, one of the few people in the world to have completed the race and who has covered this incredible distance a total of ten times. Listen to what goes on inside the mind of an ultra-runner, what training and motivation looks like, and how to overcome the physical and mental obstacles on the 4,989-kilometre course?
