Screening #1: 3100: Run and Become (USA) / Tue 10 June, 7-9pm

The documentary 3100: Run and Become follows the story of an unassuming Finnish journalist who takes part in the world's longest running race: The Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race, in which runners must cover nearly 60 miles (96.5 km) a day to complete the race successfully. Its story takes you to the Kalahari Desert, the mountain temples of Japan or the Navajo reservation. The film will be introduced by Slovak ultra-runner Pranjal Milovník, who has completed this incredible course a total of ten times in ten consecutive years from 2005-2014. Screening in English with Slovak subtitles.

STRONGMAN SHOW - An extraordinary evening about transcending the limits of human achievements / Thu 12 June, 6-8pm

Witness the power of authentic strongmen led by the most successful strongman of the Czech Republic Jiří Tkadlčík and observe their acts in person. An evening with remarkable guests who embody the spirit of pushing physical limits, spiced up with a screening of the unique documentary Challenging Impossibility. The evening will be entertainingly guided by the well-known personality of Czech and Slovak pantomime, Vlado Kulíšek.

Jiří Tkadlčík has achieved multiple titles of the strongest man in the Czech Republic and numerous victories at international competitions such as Arnold Classic Europe. He is known for his versatility, tenacity and huge motivation, thanks to which he is pushing himself further and further. In addition to competing, he is also dedicated to coaching and popularizing strength sports through workshops and seminars where he motivates not only young athletes but also the general public to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Together with his friends, he will show you what real strength and determination means!

"Challenging Impossibility" (USA) has garnered awards at various international film festivals and depicts Sri Chinmoy's weightlifting adventure. He has lifted over 90,000 kg in a single evening in front of famous bodybuilders, athletes, and hundreds of other spectators. The 30-minute documentary is accompanied by insights from Bill Pearl, Frank Zane, Mike Katz, Canadian strongman Hugo Girard, Olympian Carl Lewis, and others.

Abhejali Bernardová: We Can Do Much More Than We Think! / Fri June 13 6:00-7:30 p.m.

A motivational talk by the well-known long-distance swimmer and author of the successful book Until the Water Stops. Abhejali Bernardová is famous for her performances in extreme conditions and is one of the most inspiring Czech female athletes in the field of endurance sports. She is only the fourth woman in the world and to complete the Oceans Seven - a prestigious challenge that involves swimming seven of the world's toughest straits, including the English Channel, the Strait of Gibraltar and the Molokai Channel in Hawaii. With this feat, she made history in Czech and world long-distance swimming. She is known for her persistent attitude, positive thinking and for inspiring others to overcome their own limits. She is actively involved in promoting sport, healthy lifestyle and organising lectures and non-profit projects.

Hanka Dvorská: I Do as if Nothing / Sun 15 June 6-7.30pm

Come and listen to an inspiring talk with the famous stuntwoman, coach and tireless athlete Hanka Dvorská. Hanka has had a career spanning more than 40 years, during which she has starred in many Hollywood films and stood in for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. At the age of 60, she is still jumping out of airplanes, running around Prague and can even fill in for male characters in films. She is the author of the popular book Life is Doing a Nice Workout with Me.

The interview will be conducted by Czech long-distance swimmer Abhejali Bernardová, who is the fourth woman in the world to complete the legendary Oceans Seven challenge. Don't miss meeting two extraordinary women who prove that obstacles are there to be conquered!

Radek Jaroš: 20 Years on Top of the World / Wed 18 June, 7-8:30pm

We invite you to an extraordinary evening with a legend of Czech mountaineering! Radek Jaroš - the man who was the first Czech without an oxygen device to climb all fourteen of the world's eighteen-thousanders. An adventurer, writer, documentary filmmaker and inspirational storyteller who will share with you his experiences from expeditions where it was not only about physical strength, but above all about perseverance, courage and humility.

You will learn what it means to overcome your own limits in the most extreme conditions on our planet. Radek will show you behind the scenes of the legendary climbs of Everest, K2, Annapurna and Kanchenjunga and will guide you on the way to reaching the Crown of the Himalayas - a project that culminated in the ascent of K2 in 2014. Let yourself be swept away by the stories of triumphs, but also moments when life is at stake. Come and hear the life story of a man who proves that dreams are meant to be fulfilled, and limits exist only in our heads.

Pavel Macek: Body, Breath, Spirit / Thu 19 June, 7-8.30pm

You are cordially invited to a lecture by Pavel Macek, one of thirteen StrongFirst Master Certified Instructors in the world, a pioneer of kettlebell training in the Czech Republic, the chief instructor of the KB5 School of Strength, Fitness and Movement, a long-time practitioner of traditional martial arts and MMA, and a practicing Stoic - Procopton.

The topic of the lecture will be strength and fitness as a path to a more resilient body and mind, breathing exercise to improve strength, flexibility, recovery and overall health, as well as "spiritual" exercises and mindfulness - how to connect physical training with a deeper awareness of the present. Pavel will also speak on the path of the warrior, the strength athlete and the person seeking inner balance.

This talk is for anyone who wants to go beyond the usual training and find in movement a path to physical and mental health and resilience.
