Sports career and achievements

  • World Champion in the strongman category up to 105 kg (2024): in June 2024, he won the SCL Association World Championships in Finland, despite health complications during the competition
  • European Vice-Champion (2024)
  • Deadlift World Record (2019): He lifted 406 kg in the 105 kg weight class, which was a world record at the time
  • Achievements at the Arnold Classic: Wins and medal placements at prestigious competitions in Australia, South America and Europe.
  • Powerlifting titles: World and European champion in powerlifting

Personal life and motivation

Jiří comes from Přerov and has been involved in sport since his youth. He started with hockey, then switched to powerlifting and finally found his passion in strongman competitions. The path to his dream of becoming a professional strongman involved leaving college and changing jobs. Despite the initial doubts of those around him, he made it to the world level.

His journey was not without obstacles. He suffers from diabetes, which requires careful monitoring and even more discipline, especially during rigorous training and competitions. In addition, he faced personal challenges, including his daughter's serious illness, which made him even more motivated to overcome his obstacles and achieve success.

Jiří Tkadlčík is not only a top athlete, but also an inspiration to many. His story shows that with determination and hard work, even seemingly insurmountable obstacles can be overcome. He is actively involved in popularizing strongman sport in the Czech Republic and motivates others to achieve their goals.
